Welcome everyone to episode 60 of the Everyone’s Agnostic podcast. Cass Midgley and Dr. Bob Pondillo interview fellow atheist podcaster Callie Wright. This conversation is a course in transgender basics 101. Callie generously and gracefully accommodates our ignorance. Her patience with our ignorance is her way of making the world suck less for transgender people by helping cisgender people acquire empathy for their plight in a culture that is often hostile towards them. As is true of all marginalized peoples, it’s impossible to keep one’s bigotry towards them when you know one. Callie produces a podcast titled Gaytheist Manifesto.
