Everyone's Agnostic Podcast
Cass & Bob interview people you don't know about a subject no one wants to talk about--losing faith in the supernatural.
Episode 61 Wayne Rumsby

Cass and Bob interview Canadian Wayne Rumsby. Wayne is a craftsman. His heart is enormous. He is so genuinely human. He and his wife are some of those unfortunate parents who’ve had to bury a child—a special needs child with a degenerative disease that was never diagnosed in his short 18 year life. Wayne’s heart for social justice survived his Christianity and today he holds out hope to be able to continue his work with people broken on the wheels of life by creating quality furniture in the retreat center he calls home.

Episode 60 Callie Wright

Welcome everyone to episode 60 of the Everyone’s Agnostic podcast. Cass Midgley and Dr. Bob Pondillo interview fellow atheist podcaster Callie Wright. This conversation is a course in transgender basics 101. Callie generously and gracefully accommodates our ignorance. Her patience with our ignorance is her way of making the world suck less for transgender people by helping cisgender people acquire empathy for their plight in a culture that is often hostile towards them. As is true of all marginalized peoples, it’s impossible to keep one’s bigotry towards them when you know one. Callie produces a podcast titled Gaytheist Manifesto. Look for it on all podcast platforms.

Episode 58 Bart Campolo

Episode 58 of the Everyone’s Agnostic podcast features Cass Midgley and Bob Pondillo discussing how non-religious, naturalist thinkers frame the issue of death and whether or not we have an honest narrative that is, in fact, comforting to those grieving their lost loved ones. We borrow clips from Hemant Mehta’s podcast, the Friendly Atheist, where he interviews Bart Campolo, a Humanist Chaplain for USC and UCLA. You can listen to that entire interview here.

This episode was taped on August 1st  2015.

Episode 57: Lydia Allan

Bob and Cass interview one of the most exciting new voices in atheist podcasting, Lydia Allan. David Smalley, of the ground-breaking podcast Dogma Debate, discovered Lydia as she was speaking at a local freethinkers meetup in Dallas. He was so impressed with her that he approached to come on his show as a regular co-host and we all benefit from his intuition. Her undergraduate degree was in Psychology, she holds two Masters degrees in Neuroscience and  ? and is currently working on a PhD in The History and Philosophy of Science.

In the spirit of “the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know,” Lydia bears a refreshing humility while be very smart and well educated and even feisty at times. She’s exactly the kind of voice we want at the table. One of the best mixes of learned, empathic, angry, and compassionate I’ve ever interviewed.  I think you’re going to like this talk.
